Amy and Shane's Wedding at the Cavendish Hotel, Eastbourne

When I first met Amy she mentioned that her father is an artist, so obviously I had to Google him when I got home. In one of those happy coincidences that happen from time to time, it turns out that a few years ago we bought one of his paintings of fish and have it hanging up home! Pop over and take a look at the rather lovely work of Clive Fredriksson
Anyway, on to the wedding. We started nice and early with the bridal preparations at the Cavendish Hotel on Eastbourne seafront, so early that we decided to have a quick shoot on the beach with Shane and the girls and had great fun just messing around together before going back to the hotel for the hair and makeup. Amy had one of the coolest pair of bridal shoes I've seen so far, a pair of custom made Converse All Star trainers with her new surname embroidered down the back, I didn't know you could do this.
The wedding ceremony took place at Eastbourne Town Hall, which is a lovely old place dating from the time when thought and effort were put into designing public buildings and is always a pleasure to work in. The rest of the day was spent back at the Cavendish and weather had gone off a bit by now so we did all the group photographs around the hotel and got some really nice romantic shots in the library. It's great if you can get out around the bandstand and pier but there is more than enough scope to do some very stylish things inside the hotel if it's raining or cold.
Everyone had the most amazing day at Amy and Shane's wedding, it was just fun from beginning to end. The Cavendish Hotel is one of my favourite venues in Eastbourne and is exceptionally well run. You can fine out more information on their website: http://www.cavendishhotel.co.uk/
